Soup Music Company presents WHISKEY WARS at the Whiskey Junction on the West Bank!! The Minnesota Music Academy is proud to sponsor one of the Twin Cities' largest battle of the bands competitions. The competition got started this past weekend and will continue weekly thru the beginning of July. No matter what your taste in music, this competition has it covered with competitors being divided into four categories:
Sunday is COLLEGE CLASH night
(all ages welcome). Monday is ROCK RUMBLE
(modern and classic rock). Tuesday is BATTLE OF THE BLUES
(blues, soul and R&B). Wednesday is DJ MIX MATCH
(past, present and future dance).
There are still band and DJ spots available, but with prizes valued at over $25,000 you better hurry cause the spots will fill up fast. If you're a music industry professional there are still some judging spots open so come down and join the fun.
